Ah... my new camera...

The last camera that I bought was back in year....... 2004, I think. It was the micro 'miu' camera, 3 mega pixel. It was the state of the art camera, cute compact the source of many jealousies... ok the last part I add myself one. 4 years have past since then and my camera also obsolete already(model discontinued) and even the battery also very hard to find. Want to google online for the picture also cannot find already. The screen filter was very scratched too. I can go on and on and on but the conclusion is, it's time to change.

Got IT Fair over the weekend so me and the Ayamses went to the IT Fair to look over the models. I have only 2 in mind, Olympus or Canon. No doubt Canon got the nicest pictures. They are in the printing business after all. Olympus while cannot beat Canon in terms of image sharpness, beats Canon in terms of features and price. Nowadays, the only thing an Olympus camera cannot do is probably walk on water. Despite the numerous features that it claims to possess I am only interested in one, which is the wide angle lens. In this sense O and C had the same 28mm wide angle lens to offer but C is costing about SGD568.00 add in a better optical zoom which I don't really need. Anyway no guesses which one I bought.

Only regret is the freebies don't have the big tripod. I was told it was part of the offer during the last quarter's IT fair. My timing ler, this time don't have. The SLRs, Compact Camera and Semi Pros are quite affordable too. Since I am quite lacking in skills, no point buying technical camera cause there are certain standards to be met when you carry this kind of cameras.

Anyway the crowds that turn up.... HUGE! They are so slow moving along the City Link it's like the chocolate in the chocolate fondue. I think the chocolate actually flow faster. It literally took me one hour to walk from the Convention Center to the City Hall MRT station and back. NO JOKE. I was generally in a bad mood as I can't tolerate crowds too much. Got limit before the face start turning black. But when one wants a bargain one has to sacrifice something. Anyway, Moo thinks it's pricey. Didn't ask her threshold of good bargain though. Don't tend to dwell on stuff once the decision is made. Expensive or cheap, done is done.

Anyway will post up the difference between the photos a wide angle camera made vs a normal one soon..... um... um.. Monday class, Tuesday class, Wed badminton, Thur class.. Friday going back hometown... looks like soon is gonna be next week. But I still blog more frequent than some..
